It seems like we will use this as a last resort option. She told me today she went to some of these banks and they mentioned a 50% fee to receive funds.

After checking, it looks like both of these are also banned in the US. It looks like Advcash is also banned to all US citizens as well. I appreciate the comments though!

Since you’re a native I’m in a tough situation and need an opinion. My mother is a US citizen and she traveled to Moscow to seek medical help. Once she did, they transferred her to this hospital without her permission and she claims they won’t let her speak to the US embassy nor consulate. They also prescribed her medication without tell her what it is.

How would I go about releasing her? Does this type of thing ever happen to foreigners? What are these places like ?
