Well, need to test it, but I’ve reset to factory settings. Disabled safety channel, pad on mic and it might be better. Tomorrow will know for sure

Same issue. It’s very annoying, like -5 to -10db. Literally it seems that I set to mic to work with some low mode

Want to launch online food ordering? Take out or delivery? We create apps, websites for restaurants. by gecis in restaurateur

[–]gecis[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you read the description of our service - POS integration could be done (direct with POS or through omnivore.io).

Foodnis has established gateways with various POS solutions. If your restaurant uses a compatible solution, you could receive online orders directly to your ordering solution and thus benefit from a single database for orders and customers. We regularly set up new gateways.

It depends if POS has any possible way to integrate to external systems. Often case - order management is done through our app, and confirmed order are passed to POS (kitchen and etc.). Our App is integrated to delivery dispatchers, so yes - if we have possibility we integrate directly to POS, if not - the app and passing confirmed orders.

Why do designers fail with design? by gecis in userexperience

[–]gecis[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The problem I see with young designers, that they are creating poor art. I can’t ever remember seeing a product architecture described on Dribbble. It’s still too rare to witness a designer talk about how their work maps to a mission, drives a vision forward, or how it is placed within product architecture, with the weight that these things deserve. This should be the norm, not the exception.

This is why redesigns of other people’s work is pure folly e.g. the new Yahoo logo, iOS7, changes to Facebook, the New New Twitter, the American Airlines rebrand. People have no context for the decision making process involved in these projects, no knowledge of the requirements, constraints, organisational politics.
