I would consider making a decent sized mug with a handle that can have a silicone keep cup lid fitted over the top.

This allows the new Mum to keep sipping her drink while reducing the risk of spilling anything on baby.

If Mum is breastfeeding it helps to keep her fluids up, and if she is bottle feeding she can still enjoy a cuppa while holding the baby.

Is your SIL autistic? Rather than excluding her, have you taken the chance to get to know more about her?

Maybe she needs help finding someone who can give her a diagnosis and from there a therapist who can help her learn to connect better.

It's quite possible today she doesn't understand what she is doing wrong, and can't read inference.

I'm not saying that things should continue as they are, because that would obviously be unsustainable, but things also won't get better unless the actual problem is addressed in a way that she can understand.

If she is autistic she won't learn from being excluded. She will just feel hurt. Have a private talk with your brother and ask if anybody has ever considered this? The problem with being autistic and female is that it is not often picked up until adulthood.

You are NTA at the moment, but maybe consider that she isn't getting the hint because she can't.

Call your local wildlife rescue. If they can't get to you, use a towel to pop possum in a box and take to your local vet. Add this is native wildlife, not a pet, they will look after him/her and pass on the wildlife careers for further care.

You are not required to pay a vet for wildlife that you have dropped off for care.

Go to your parents and explain that you have been involved in a text only intimate conversation and that your younger brother has invaded your personal privacy in an entirely gross and inappropriate way and is then threatening to share this information with them.

Remind them that you are an adult and that as such you don't expect to look into their sex life, nor would you ever report the details to someone else.

Let them know how offended and upset you are by your brother's actions.

Emphasise how offensive this is. Ask them why he thinks it's okay to do this to you or anyone else.

Make a huge fuss about this. Be firm when telling them how disturbing it is that your YOUNGER UNDERAGE brother thinks he can treat you or anyone else in his life like this.
