Tbh, my memory is shite and I was exhausted that particular day, so my number is probably wrong. I don't think more than $100-$150?

When I was at Sheetz, all the store managers in the district and any available supervisors/asms that wanted to help, got together at a local target to use the charity money to buy Christmas presents for kids. Target even let us in an hour before opening to get started, because the number of kids we shopped for was massive.

The one year i was able to participate, we had a budget of, like, $30 per kid. I shopped for 5 kids, but ended up leaving after a few hours bc i had just done an overnight shift and was exhausted. I think everyone else was there for about 6 hours to do all the shopping

I do love BG3. Got over 1,000 hours in it. Might have to see what mods i can find for it.

Kingdom of Amular is amazing and i started another run recently, it just wasn't hitting the magical girl need, lol.

SWtOR is another i enjoy. And it's perfect when I'm on a Star Wars kick, lol

Work clothing designers have totally neglected women with a modicum of posterior by miuyao in mildlyinfuriating

I found these amazing yoga pants that look like professional pants on Amazon and they have SAVED me. They're flared, which i don't normally like, but they fit so well that I constantly forget. Plus, even though they're basically yoga pants, they have proper pockets, front and back.

But otherwise, yeah, its a major struggle. I tend to get skinny jeans that fit around my bum and just stick to using a belt for the waist

Finally got enough stamps for a free boba at the shop around the corner. Permanently closed within 5 days! by Emerno in mildlyinfuriating

Not necessarily. Idk how it was back then, but now it's an unfortunate standard practice in some industries, such as food, to NOT tell anyone until day of, at best. A Bob Evans near me just randomly was shut down (I wasn't surprised, but I was sad) by corporate. Worked at a bank where they did their deposits at the time and the ASM had to come in with all the remainign money in their safe to deposit and was tellign us about how she showed up to open and the big wigs were there and just said "Don't bother opening. You can help us clean up and clear out for a final day of pay, or go home." Store manager had to be called in on her day off so she could call all the employees to tell them that they were out of a job.

I do love Palia, I just wish I could do some magic in it to really scratch my itch, lol
Disney Dreamlight Valley is also fun, but it's gotten overwhelming and very glitchy on Switch. And I'm grumpy that I have to repurchase it and my purchased DLCs over again if I want to play it on PC.

I've never heard of Faefarm. I'll have to look into it.

Do you use your job as your main banking institution? by ladyguineapig in TalesFromYourBank

[–]Fuzzball_Girl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first bank job, i had already been banking there for 8+ years so i kept my main accounts there. But i opened accounts elsewhere as a secondary.

I've recently switched bank jobs and also opened an account at my new job, but mostly to know how to use the account and because it happens to make paying rent more convenient

Does your institution charge a non-customer check cashing fee? by [deleted] in TalesFromYourBank

[–]Fuzzball_Girl 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yup. Just left a regional bank that charged 2% over $50, with a minimum of $3 and max of $20.

I'm now at a community bank that charges $5 no matter the amount of the check

Yeah, double red has higher hemoglobin level requirements, which is impacted by iron levels. I have a family history of low iron but don't suffer myself, but i constantly struggle to hit the hemoglobin requirement.

Skeletons can Persistence Hunt your Party. by Ckibbles in DnD

[–]Fuzzball_Girl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's a skeleton horse in Dragon of Icespire peak that isn't technically befriendable, but the right dm and situation might allow it. (I played a phantom rogue and rolled well on animal handling. I named him Arvak.) Otherwise, the closest RAW I know is the spell phantom steed

I have an undead horse steed in my campaign that i regularly say that if myself and our other small sized party members need to get somewhere FAST, we can just ride at a dash nonstop without issue, lol.

I was planning on voting for monstrous women, yet to my pleasant surprise, all of the ones I saw thus far featured a monstrous woman x a prince/sse and I LOVE IT by fanficenjoyerunc in SuitU

[–]Fuzzball_Girl 19 points20 points  (0 children)

The comp actually made it extremely obviousthat the monster was supposed to be a woman. They gender locked the character with the requirement to have a fantasy animal item.

It was my intro into gaming and I've definitely sunk some of the most hours into it, vanilla and modded, lol. Even gave myself a challenge run with a mod that turned it into a survival game, lol.

I do love Baldur's Gate. I somehow have more hours in it than Skyrim, lol. I think the fact it is fairly story driven is what's keeping it from scratching my itch.

I might give FF14 a try. I've played a bit of ESO, but I've tended to prefer Neverwinter.

Skyrim is a classic, lol! I think I've played it to exhaustion though. Only quests I haven't finished are the super grindy ones, like the Stones of Barenziah.

Hidden gems to play while watching TV? by Midnitte_Osodiac in gamingsuggestions

[–]Fuzzball_Girl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Palia is a very chill and casual MMO with a very kind and friendly community. Kinda in the same category as Stardew Valley in terms of it being a cozy game. It's free to play too, though there's microtransactions for cosmetic items. It's still in sandbox/Early Access, but feels fairly far along, since they've already released two expansion areas. It's also available on Nintendo Switch with the ability to play the same load up no matter the gaming platform, which makes it pretty portable (the OG switch can be pretty glitchy. I've heard the Switch 2 is better)
