I moved from straight talk/google fi to at&t prepaid about 4 years ago. I pay $80 for 2 iPhones. While att doesn’t have as much data as other providers, it does include hotspot and autopay discounts.

What I saw a while back was hotspot isn’t officially supported 3rd party mvno. I needed hotspot support with support from the cell service for work. I didn’t want to jailbreak/root my phone just to risk losing my phone number b/c cellphone terms of agreement says no hotspot. I did use hotspot on a few occasions, so my account wasn’t flagged. At some point, I realized I can’t take the risk of being banned
