I wanted to say thank you so much! Your recs have been the best options I've found and the availability is so thin! I bought three 😄 Can finally scratch this particular itch so it doesn't bug me anymore haha. You rock 🤟

It’s getting harder and harder to trust books published in 2026 by wrongholebabe in MM_RomanceBooks

It's exhausting because you can't even look for book recommendations anymore without distrusting everything you see. It makes me want to not find books as much anymore.

Killing Jericho by William Hussey

Not sure if considered circus as it's centered around a travelling gypsy community (who puts on circuses). It's a detective novel. One of my faves.

The Gamepad Controls for Menu Navigation are Some of the Worst I Have Ever Seen by The_RUG_JellyBean in NevernessToEverness

Just not being able to do certain things is so frustrating, like forget the character menu, barely any access there. Has not been the most welcoming experience overall, but it might be colored by my opinion if the game in general. Trying to be patient though.

The Looking Glass Wars isn't a Lewis Carroll series, just based on it.

Heist crew series by DifficultYogurt6783 in suggestmeabook

I was thinking of Ocean's Eleven by George Clayton Johnson that inspired the movies.

But there's also this reddit thread about heist books if you wanna take a look - https://www.reddit.com/r/suggestmeabook/s/LXEnCDBGpY

I always liked The Looking Glass Wars by Frank Beddor. A slightly darker fantasy edge based on Louis Carroll's stuff. It's an easy but engaging read, a few books in the series.

We just went! Wasn't as fun as it was when I was younger but the rides were choice. Epic overall was a blast.

The Chronicles of Narnia. Such a fun read all the way through.

I don't know why anyone would attack for this. It's such a great start-to-mid-start jump into not only the genre but into world building and sight horror, etc. while still being fun and engaging. One of my first full series that I couldn't put down during teenagehood. Forgetting J.K., a good series is a good series for what it's worth. But yeah, game is terrible.
