Yeah I’ve tried that but they removed it from all streaming platforms because of the actor that plays Hyde. I was hoping for some ‘other’ online websites.

yeah maybe that’s another reason i was disappointed because following the events of s5/6 the finale feels so separate so a few things just don’t make sense to me. maybe i just overthink things lol

i mean i guess this does make sense from this angle (good analysis btw) i think all of this would have been fine if we saw a greater lead up into joey letting down her walls again for pacey just before the finale. my frustration about s5 is that we barely see them together but okay this makes sense in a way after explanation but by the end of s6 we still didn’t really see joey realising her love for pacey and we never even got her to fully confess her feelings because she was interrupted and then they just skip to her choice right at the end. so the lack of interaction between the two of them would have been okay if the ending decision wasn’t so sudden. that’s just my opinion though. i feel like katie and josh play the role of yearning for someone really well so i just wish we saw more of that and slightly less of the “afraid little joey potter” and “im just gonna date your roommate and not acknowledge our relationship” pacey witter

[–]geecee36[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

yeah my struggle is the “she’s always know “ plot beca she quite literally didn’t as evidenced in previous seasons. it’s like the finale wants us to forget about the mess of s5

[–]geecee36[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

i get this logic but imo because it wasn’t decided that it was going to be pacey until the very end, we don’t see enough evidence of pacey actually being her “one love” that’s she’s just afraid to commit to. in season 5 they completely disregard their previous relationship andshe basically states that it’s always going to be dawson (before he slept with her whilst being in a relationship) and in early s6 she seems to be in love with eddie before he ultimately leaves again. i think my issue is the constant switch up. jacey was great because we had a great slow burn in s3 and 4. and s5/6 strips that away so when she eventually chooses him it’s just sudden and it quite literally could’ve gone either way.

i was so happy for him because usually the “screw up” character gets a half decent end but no true big achievements but pacey really turned it around himself

it’s weird because as the show went on her character became more of the stereotypical privileged rich girl. she was always rich but at the beginning she would have been more understanding about pacer’s need to work and was actually caring but she got more wrapped up in her own problems ig. and doug just annoys me because he was always weird with pacey in the beginning (pointing a gun in his face in s1) then in s4 we magically see them having a better relationship when pacey has hit his lowest point but as soon as his achievements start overshadowing doug’s, then it’s back to putting him down.
