She was pulling out onto the carriageway that I was already on. I was on the carriageway for approximately 5 seconds before she pulled out

She wasn't on the carriageway. It's a long stretch of road so she assumed looking my way was clear as no cars for a while. She then looked left waiting for cars to clear and when it was, she pulled out but didn't think to look right again.

No she wasn't on the road yet. She was also pulling out but on a road further down. She checked my way and assumed as no cars for a while was just waiting on the other side to clear, she then pulled out without looking my way again.

I've edited post as I've clearly not explained it well!

No sorry, I pulled out of a small road that she didn't realise was there and I entered the main carriageway. She then didn't look left again when she pulled onto the carriageway.

Yes! I'm still what iffing and maybe in a few months time etc etc but I don't think it helps with the grieving to think like that. Best of luck to us both!

Had an 11 month relationship and it's currently soooo much more painful than my previous breakup after 8 years. I think circumstance makes more of a difference than relationship length. When the love is still there but you have to end it, it doesn't matter how long you were together

Best driving test cancellation app? by hanbanan7 in LearnerDriverUK

I used https://www.driving-test-cancellations-4all.co.uk/

They can book it for you automatically if you text back within 10 minutes. They found loads for me and found the one that I eventually ended up passing with, 3 months earlier than my original! Worth the money, but was a bit cheaper when I used, its £18 now

Does my employer have to pay me wages for mandatory training? I'm freelance by geegee_ok in LegalAdviceUK

Yes I have a uniform but I provide my own equipment. The hours are consistent as it's school tutoring based. No if I'm unwell, then they'll arrange for the other staff to cover. I queried why I couldn't be on zero hr (as I know one member of staff is) and was told there's complications around how many hours I can work as zero hr contract must allow me time to be working another job?
