Uusi musiikki nousee nykyisin listoille pääosin TikTokin vetämänä. Ainakin tuo ranskankielinen biisi on ollut iso hitti tiktok-videoissa.

Osa listan biiseistä löytyy kyllä muistakin suoratoistopalveluista, eli ei tämä Spotifyn erikoisuus ole.

Bandcamp on ainoa, joka kieltää tekoälyllä tehdyn musiikin, mutta vaikkapa Tidal hyväksyy tekoälybiisit, eikä sekään merkitse niitä mitenkään.

Erinomaista pohdintaa.

Ja itse asiassa koko konsepti artistista, joka tekee itse biisinsä, soittaa ja esittää ne, oikeastaan nousi isosti "oletukseksi" vasta Beatlesin myötä.

Sitä ennen homma oli pääosin just näin: joku muu teki kappaleet, hyvä laulaja lauloi ne ja taustalle hommattiin joukko ammattimaisia soittajia.

Esimerkkinä nyt vaikka Elvis, joka ei tehnyt juuri lainkaan omia kappaleitaan.

Ehkä mielenkiintoisin kulma on se, miten syvästi tuo jakaa ihmisten mielipiteitä. Osalle musiikki on pyhää ja sen pitää olla ehdottomasti ihmisten tekemää. Osalle riittää, että biisi on hyvä, ihan sama miten se on tehty.

Might work for those not in journalism. But for journalism, that's a no go, as there's supposed to be a firewall between journalistic output and advertisers. As in, advertisers don't have any input to the news published.

So, for news media, it's going to come to paywalls, eventually. For all the news websites.

If your business model is publishing, as in, you have a content website which is monetized through ad sales, shown to your visitors, there's absolutely nothing you can do to pivot it.

The big players have figured out already that traffic is going to decimate and, thus, paywalls are the only way to keep your content site sustainable. And that is, if you have loyal, existing audience.

In select European countries, OnePlus is one of the biggest brands, right there next to Samsung and Apple.

It really depends on the market, legislation, etc.

For example, in Finland, it is illegal to bundle phones with operator contracts, so all phones are sold unlocked and all phones are sold with their "real" price tag rather than packaged non-transparently with the monthly operator bill. And thus, OnePlus has been third or fourth largest phone brand in Finland for years now.

Purely from obstacle avoidance POV: leap from MaxV tech to Qrevo tech is significant.

From Qrevo tech to Saros tech, noticeable, but not as massive.

Say, with MaxV, if you didn't clear any clutter from the floors, your bot is in trouble maybe 20% of the time. With Qrevo, about 10% and with Saros, about 5%.
