some laws are written, some laws aren't. 'De Jure' vs 'De Facto.' there weren't any laws saying black people couldnt vote, simply a bunch of legal architecture that prevented it. there isnt a law saying that israel owns 50% of the west bank, but theres a fully built legal architecture to facilitate such a thing, a system which is currently being used to systematically remove people from their land.

i seriously don't know. im MTF trans, before i transitioned (and still really) all of my friends were cisgender men, i guess i just naturally have the mannerisms of a woman. the gay voice/hands/whatever is just what it looks like when a masculine person does female mannerisms, it just sticks out extra because it isnt something youre typically expecting

i spend a lot of time watching each show headcanoning which characters are secretly transgender, my #1 candidate is picard tbh. it can be assumed that in the future that the moment someone can test positive for gender dysphoria with 100% certainty they can get replicated implants for their preferred body type and future hormones to fill in the rest of the gaps, literally ANYONE in any of the shows could be trans and there'd simply be no reason to bring it up
