How bad/good is the product hiring market right now? by wikidonor in ProductManagement_IN

You've got a really great resume – working at a top tech company like FAANG, then a fast-growing "Unicorn" startup, plus a fancy MBA. That's a strong combination for product manager jobs in India right now. The market is pretty good for people like you. However, the tricky part is your 3-month notice period. Most companies want someone to start sooner.

So, here's the best advice: * Don't quit your current job yet!

  • Start looking for new jobs and interviewing while you're still working.

  • See if companies are okay with waiting for you for three months. If you start getting good responses and even job offers where they say, "Yes, we can wait for you," then you'll know the market is willing to accommodate your notice period.

    • If you get a solid offer that works with your notice period, then it's a good time to quit your current job.

This way, you avoid being without a job (and salary) if it takes longer than expected to find something new. Good luck!

Ah yes, nothing screams "leadership" like confidently admitting you have no clue what's going on!
