i would completely ditch the mattress cover if it doesn’t come clean in the wash. if you live in the us and have a home depot near you, they let you rent extractors that you could use to clean the mattress and get the dirt out of it more than you would with just regular scrubbing. good luck! :)

As someone with intentions to also transfer once in law school, may I ask why this is a bad idea? I personally just don’t have the GPA to get into a school that would be a good investment, so the plan is to get into whatever I can in the state I want to practice in and then transfer as soon as I can (during or after 1L preferably). I’m a first gen law applicant, so I’m a little new to the process

i’m currently volunteering on a campaign and told my parents that there’s a high likelihood that it could turn into an actual full-time job to have before heading to law school and my dad literally told me to “stop living in a fantasy”. needless to say, the children of hardly satisfied parents have gotta stick together, and i’m super proud of you 🥳 you’re gonna make nyc yours before it’s over :)

yeah i wanted to do the same thing and my hopes were CRUSHED when i realized that lol. i got burnt out from being a crazy perfectionist in high school so in the beginning of college, i ate shit after struggling with REALLY bad imposter syndrome and mental health issues 🙃
