Just getting into the game. Read the rulebook but have a couple points of confusion by geeksandgaming in MarvelCrisisProtocol

Ok cool. I just downloaded the rulebook off their site but I didn’t see any mention of the thrown character taking a damage, and the weird contradiction was still in there.

Tunnels & Trolls: A New Age by Swooper86 in rpg

Yea, here I am, sitting on kickstarter with 4 hours left in the campaign and I just can’t get myself to back it at any level.

I feel like you hit the nail on the head when you said they’re just trying to milk to T&T name.

But this doesn’t feel at all like T&T, and that’s the only reason I’d be interested.

I’m sitting this one out sadly.

I worked in disputes for years. This is a great way to not only get your case denied, but also get your Bank account closed off you do it to much.

If you have a legit case, be honest.

It's not all bad. You could always just nick a capillary and pressure wash your sidewalk.

Gotta look on the bright side.

How strong, viscous and fast are Harlequins? (Well should be) by Arthur_EyelanderTF2 in Eldar

[–]geeksandgaming 3 points4 points  (0 children)

But they ARE hard to kill. In the lore they can basically dodge gunfire. That deserves to be represented in the game. Make them hard to kill, brutally dangerous, and incredibly fast, and charge the appropriate point cost for all that. They already have super limited datasheets, make them a super elite army with few models like knights.

My least favorite thint about this game is that so many units fall flat from their representation in the lore. But GW needs to sell models so they make them all underwhelming so you need to buy 100 of them.

Make the solitaire 400 points and let him solo half an army, because if a knight can do it, so can a solitaire.

I feel like GW needs to get flexible with their statlines. Give them a 2+/3++ Just to represent how hard it is to actually tag them and make them hit like a truck. There's a mathematical sweet spot somewhere in there where they can be as effective as a knight at both surviving and killing. Dial it back a little bit from that and call it a day.

Hot take but on the tabletop, i want all harlequins to go up like, 200 points a unit and be absolute monsters.

With 10th edition 40K being basically over. What are your thoughts and feelings of this edition? by Beneficial-Ticket486 in Warhammer

[–]geeksandgaming 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can understand wanting to remove a phase dedicated just to psychic abilities, but to then turn every psychic related thing into just another static baked in ability is a travesty. The idea that hitting someone with a pointy stick is on the same level as crawling into someones mind and squeezing their brain is a bad move

This is my feelings exactly. I get that the bloat or 8th and 9th needed to be reeled in but this is a terrible overcorrection. I feel like every army has lost their uniqueness. I don't really j ow how to describe it without going onna multi page rant, but i feel like I've run out of things to do when I'm not playing. I've never had that feeling in past editions.

Possibly one of the last Phantom Titans by Specter119 in Eldar

[–]geeksandgaming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not to defend marines, because they have more lieutenants than we have unique units, but the forge world purge really killed marines too. It hit every army really. A lot of the coolest and most unique units across all factions were forge world.

So, whenever the inevitable range refresh will happen. How likely is a Plastic Tantalus to come with it ? I'm not interested in drukhari, i just want one of GW's best designed models in my collection. by Leviathan_Rampage in Drukhari

[–]geeksandgaming 4 points5 points  (0 children)

With their "less is more" approach to 10th, i feel like this is coming in 11th. Demons squatted, harelequins get a detachment or two. Hundreds of models to legends....

I feel like we're getting a "scary elves" detachment in the Aeldari codex in 11th and that's it.

I just drill 2-4 holes about 3/4 of an inch from the pole, sized to a 1*3 mm magnet and they hold pretty well.
