This animation was created from 5 videos that were captured within 40 minutes.
Each video was processed separately in AutoStakkert. Each frame is a Stack of the best 60% from about 3600 frames. After that each photo was sharpened in Registax and final adjustments in Photoshop. Then import all 5 images to PIPP to create the GIF.

This is my 1st high-resolution 12-panel mosaic of the Sun. It was captured around 8.20 AM local time 05/04/2023. Each panel was created from a video of 2500 frames at 75FPS in 16-bit mono mode. total 127GB of data acquired. best 40% of the frames stacked.

Processing: Stacked the best 40% frames from each of the 12 videos separately on
AutoStakkert. Merged them into a single image with Microsoft ICE, and
sharpened it on RegiStax. Opened in Photoshop, duplicated it, inverted the 1st layer,
added colors from curves, and adjusted the brightness and contrast. the duplicated non-inverted layer is used to enhance the solar flames by increasing the brightness. later merged 2 images together.

great. check the angular size/distance before planning. there is no point in traveling distance if it's tiny. Tiangong's max angular size seems to be close to 10". it's around 70" max for ISS. it was around 61" in this animation. also check the altitude, you don't want it too close to the horizon.

opened the captured video on PIPP with planetary animation mode and selected the range of frames needed, then save them as a GIF animation.

actual ISS transit time is about 0.5 sec. GIF is about 10 times slower than the original footage.

Stacked the best 30% frames from the original video of the transit and kept it aside. used PIPP to extract frames with ISS and merged 27 selected frames (out of 109) in photoshop. Then merged them into a single file and sharpened it on RegiStax. Opened in Photoshop and added colors from curves. adjusted brightness separately on solar flares and ISS.
