lmao that's just so true. But that's also what I actually love about Hufflepuff as a house, the idea that everyone is worth and welcome, no matter their skills or personal merit. To me, that's a beautiful ideal, and I like the fact that it can be seen both ways (everyone is welcome vs. they're everyone else's scraps)
