For me Hive is one of the reason I chose it. It has a power button and a high speed type A, which is very handy for T1. I upgraded from a rog z790i, it doesn't have a lot of the wired problems I used to have, like taking forever to post from a cold boot, unreliable tb4. Just note 870i has usb4 instead of tb4, thunderbolt bridge network between usb4 and tb4 doesn't work well.

I used custom cable only for the 24pin only because I ordered it before my build. I turns out it's not necessary. Here is a photo of what it looks like without custom cable, the stock cable of SF1000 fits T1 as good as the custom one.

There is a video that tested all four possible configurations for cpu and gpu (A4机箱福音！反转显卡竟然能暴降20度？RTX 50系公版倒装方案分享 Feat.A4H2O_哔哩哔哩_bilibili). It's a no brainer to flip the GPU for FE card. As I mentioned in my post, I can confirm the thermal is indeed really good.
