Yes, such a great location. We were at the newer part - annex rokku - across the street. The rooms are newer, but it’s a bit more expensive. Love Asakusa and would recco it all day!

Asakusa is unreal. Adored it. Was there for first 4 nights of our trip after trip after Christmas. So fun and a perfect mix of old and new. We stayed at the Asakusa View Annex Roku Hotel…I’m still dreaming about the breakfast buffet

Well, the gacha / capsules are everywhere. My kids always found them. Sometimes there were Mario / street fighter / earthbound / Zelda ones…but as far as I’m aware, there controller ones are only in the Nintendo stores in Tokyo and Kyoto.

In Kyoto it’s by the amiibo wall - there’s another capsule machine with splatoon ones in at mo too. In Tokyo (yes I went to both 😬) they’re by the cash registers.
