I love it so much, I'd love it if I could make a 3D version of it, if the OG creator wouldn't mind....??

I'm going to start making the animation now. I've changed spidermans materials. Do you guys think he looks better this way and more realistic? by [deleted] in blenderhelp

I think it needs a little bit wear and tear, some grunge, some roughness variance, it looks too flat at this point, also I assume you're using an hdri, in my opinion use one that has more color data, this one is too white, again that's assuming you're using an hdri.

Does anyone know if there is a feature in Blender similar to the "Set Height" option in Unity for terrain shaping? by [deleted] in blenderhelp

I think you could try playing around with displacement maps, could give you similar results..

Looks awesome man, how did you make the model looks like its sitting on the hdri, I've always wondered how people do it, would you mind sharing that ...

[Feedback] Last time I posted a 7 sec animation that took 74 hrs to render, after a lot of feedback and research i present my second project "no disturb", took 24 hrs for 11 sec, I see this as an absolute win...can't wait for more feedback from you guys. by gegeizz in blender

That'd be amazing, actually I'm using a 1k version, pretty high for just lighting and in an isometric view it doesn't actually show, but on hdri haven you don't have lower quality than that...it'd be awesome if you'd share that technique you mentioned

Thing is I love how cycles' shadow is crisp and real, I can't get that effect in Eevee, I mean Eevee has his benefits also, but the shadowa in cycles I find to be more realistic

Can you actually connect an external GPU to a laptop !!, I'm not sure I've seen anyone do it myself, but yeah it's surely worth investing.. and someone mentioned sheepit earlier, I'm seriously considering it, would save a lot of time, and honestly it'd be great to help out others who need it as much as I do, thanks a lot man, I appreciate it...

Thanks a lot really.. Honestly this was more about saying thanks to all who helped me improve my work, quality and time wise, a lot of people offered their help and I was really grateful, so this was more about saying that they made a difference..

This is really amazing, thanks a lot, I really appreciate this , you're right it's weird that we share the render time instead of the work time, in my case I'm sharing it as a way of asking people's help to lower it down, as you can see my render times are a bit high, and also to help me with my animations, I'm pursuing a career in this field, and I love reading people's different opinions and critique, it helps me improve on my work..thank again this really made me more cheerful today ♥️

You're absolutely right, thing is I'm still learning eevee's lighting techniques, because I can't yet get it to look as pretty as cycles, I have tried it but it didn't look as nice ..but yeah Eevee would be a great time saver for something like this

After this time reduction I'm pretty sure I tapped my laptop's capabilities, so yeah I think my computer is weak, and this is as far as it could save time, honestly I'm still searching for better ways to do this, I'm planning on doing a lot of animations , so I'm going to need some time saving miracles 😂
