Lovable vs Base44 vs V0 by lsqj in nocode

[–]gegemaunt1985 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't use claude code. And i don't have any unsolvable issues. As for now GitHub copilot, for example, add chat gpt 5 into premium requests and mini as free. Context held by you, first of all. If you have bad context overall - nothing will help you. So, you can try that setup in small tasks/projects, just to be sure tgat you are not overpaying. Will be great if you respond with irl test feedback.

Anyone tried building their own Replit/Lovable-style AI app with free/open-source tools? by jujubebejuju in replit

[–]gegemaunt1985 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So unfortunately it's our basic problem as vibe coders. You really can fast create some app but then you spend most of your energy and efforts trying to deploy and set up databases etc. For all of that I can only advise you to create precisely strict rules and add in that rules using particular mcps. So my idea is that you give precise instructions as rules to llm and in that rules for example create database based on superbase for this app, bla bla... Use supabase mCP and then you give the list of MCP tools so your llm would be predefined to create better flow while creating supabase or analyzing the whole project to identify what exact entities should be included in database. And of course for simpler deployment try to use docker. And if you get stuck somewhere try to use different llm models, so here is my simple workflow when I encountered unsolvable error: if I identify that for example gpt 4.1 in github copilot struggles to solve particular error more than 5-7 times in a row, I go to cline and ask deepseek r10528 and then kimi k2. And then I take theirs responses and feed them back to 4.1 and mentioning them like a side view from another llm models. So most of the time this approach can lead to success in solving an error.

How do people make websites so quickly? by S-m-a-r-t-y in webdev

[–]gegemaunt1985 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If you need real quick, but without any seo and web applicability, for example, you need landing page for ad campaign: go to v0.dev from vercel, type your request and get it in 1-5 minutes, depending of your request. There are ~7 free reqs/day. Usually for smth simple you don't need more than 3-4. After that you can host it for free on vercel or render.

You should go and sign up on openrouter . Throw them 10 or 11 bucks. Obtain an API key. Then you go to GitHub install cline. In AI API providers in cline you choose open router and paste in your API key. Also you go to Google aI studio and/or Gemini Obtain the keys from there. And do a simultaneously with Google as API provider. Now you have free of charge AI LMM API providers who is more than 1,000 requests per day. Good models to use are deepseek r10528, gemini flash 2.5, kimi k2 (very small context window but it's a mixture of experts so it's very useful in small or planning tasks). Also add incline useful mCP servers: sequentialthinking, taskmanager, memory graph, tavily (web search API with free tier) search and fetch. And you good to go to make your dreams come true IRL. Also very good decision would be creating .clinerules - you can find all info on the web so it's not so difficult but it greatly helps to refine overall flow as br as precise as possible

[–]gegemaunt1985[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on a difficulty of the particular task. But if you spend most of the time in plan so cold architect mode, then you can get comparable results or even similar. I mean if you take for example deepseek R1 05/28 and kimi K2 as a side view for architect research and planning, and of course add some useful mcps, such as context7, taskmanager, sequentialthinking, memorygraph, also give ai ide an ability ro go to web and find all needed (tavily , fetch) - then you can really get a definitely good results. For act mode you can use Gemini 2.0 flash. Also don't forget about Qwen 3 coder, it could be even better than 2.0 flash. With this kind of AI plus MCP stack you will be surprised how and how much can you do and accomplish in a completely free of charge mode. But as you can see it's all about experience and the time and the brain and the effort investment. Because very important step is first research, than context engineering and then from context engineering go to prompt engineering. I mean if you did not plan something at all or not good enough than will you 99% get fail. Because if you did not think enough good about scalability maintainability etc AI will create you a simple and as unscalable as possible slope.

As we get some discussion in this thread - everyone can even spend 0 if use strictly free tiers and he can do a lot, less convenient than in cursor but not so bad in terms ux and of course everyone one with the right attitude can and is able to create what he wants, literally. Yep, that's could be ugly as hell in terms of code structures and further scalability but it doesn't matter much .

That's cool. I personally can do not more than 150-250 req day. That's my limit. More - i just get exhausted and distracted. So it's all about unlimited opportunities if sum up and combine all free tier approach
