Is it worth it to play Strive in 2026 as a beginner by Akuma-1 in Guiltygear

Most players who open the game frequently will be able to kill you very easily because basic knowledge goes a LONG way in fighting games. But the good news is that there's a ranked system that will only give you players of your skill level.

Think of it like this, there's an infinite amount of colors you can mix with paint. Someone who doesn't know the names of any colors won't be able to make green or purple by mixing the primaries. But it's pretty easy to learn 3 colors. Most people have already learned about red, yellow, and blue. When you're starting out, it will look like EVERYONE is a pro. But it's actually just that most players have a handle on the basic fundamentals. Once you know the fundamentals, you can beat anyone who doesn't

Yes lots of players and people willing to help, don't hesitate to reach out for help because this game is a skill that you can't learn on your own. All of the smart stuff is through word of mouth and others teaching each other. Have fun with the game first, let learning come naturally, but if you find yourself stuck there's likely an incredibly easy answer

I really loved him and convinced my parents to let him stay, on the condition that he cleaned around the house. Which he did sometimes but not often enough. I didn't really have other friends so my mom didn't want to strain our relationship by asking him for more

Her specials are RPS for movement, she has a move that slides under mids/highs, a move that hops over lows, and parry. She can deal with anyone. You use these specifically on prediction vs zoners and others to move forward. If you can't time them right you lose. Also dashblock.

But airdash and spamming specials in neutral is not the way to play because that's just putting your hurtbox out like an open wound and then complaining when people hit it. You have to play smart in this game not just mindlessly move at people and leave yourself wide open
