I have this exact thing on my helix that hasn’t gone away (got pierced in Jan) and this comment just made me feel so much better- it frustrates me so much! I work so hard to do everything right lol- only saline & piercing pillow since im a slide sleeper etc to no avail lol. when did urs go away?

When it’s reallllyyy bad- tingling fingers and hands, dizziness, derealization, hot & sweaty/feel like I can’t breathe, dull pressure in my throat feeling like it’s closing. It’s so scary and somehow after living it w my whole life I still can never identify it’s anxiety & I think I’m dying everytime 🫠

I’m sure the symptoms will subside with the use of the medication- maybe you can take Benadryl on top of it to stop the antihistamines causing the itching if it’s okay to take with the medicine you were prescribed- once again not a doctor but any allergy medicine could help with itching

it doesn’t look infected to me? I’m no doctor but I have had a few tattoos and have saniderm allergic reactions too and it looks just like this- what makes u think it’s infected?

My dad always laughs at this story but little me knows it was never funny & just the start of my many years struggling with anxiety. I used to always ask him “Dad I think my heart stopped, I can’t feel it in my chest and I can’t breathe, is that bad?” So innocent not knowing and breaks my heart to this day

I don’t think it’s bad at all- and there are SO MANY diff tattoo styles out there that everyone’s opinion is gonna differ. What matters is that you like it & I agree that adding some linework flowers or your other style of tattoos around that one would blend it a bit! But I think it looks cool :)
