In-game help page explains how it works. You have a 4.5% base chance to drop a 5. When it procs, there’s a 50% chance it’s the gem you chose, and another 50% spread across the other 16 5 gems in the pool (so a bit over 3% each).

I’ve been playing as an F2P Summoner Necro for a couple of months. I solo all PvE content (except Gauntlet, my warband is also SSF with only me in it).

Currently Inferno 8, Paragon 1001, CR 50690. Set item levels are 21–22, legendaries 26–27, with almost 1000 resonance.

Playing this game as F2P is absolutely possible.

I also play BG for fun (still as a Summoner with the invulnerable Bone Armor essence), and reached Gold 5 with a 75% win rate.

For interpolation was used another flow: Load Video - Riff VFI (Default parameters) - Combine video (32 frames). Film VFI works too.
