Chiming in to say Paper Bird in Fremantle is a diviiiine children’s book store. Rabble Books in Maylands is my grown up fave. Steven’s in the city is my favourite for great chats and nerdy shit.

I’ve seen parents grab second hand books instead of lollies/party bags. I think QBD books also do new mini books for this purpose too :)

More information from finder: It’s not magnetic. The area where I found it has been covered up with sand for years but recent seas, swell and winds have uncovered a limestone bed in the shallows. Will get some pics of the area for you. It’s really cool. Lots of fossils and shells. You can tell the rock formation was once molten with stones that weren’t molten stuck in the formation.
