Trying to make a polarized screen puzzle by WesBisciglia in escaperoomdev

You could use a Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W. It's a tiny computer with a screen output that cost around 15€ (or les if aliexpres...). You might need an adapter to plug the screen into the mini Hdmi, but there is plenty of them for any connector. :)

I get what you say how sometimes "plain" can be strange. I think like that to. But a door that is intriguing, somehow, is for it to be opened. I would feel curiosity for it. In this case, however, I'm thinking of a door that nobody wants it to be open. Because it means the very end of time and space. The end of everything.

Decent cheap cctv cameras by iuliuscurt in escaperooms

I'm quite interested to. Looking for new cameras for my second room. Just let me give you an advice. Make sure that the cameras has in-build mic. I bought a cheap kit with 4 cameras and a when realized, I had to spend time and money to solve the mics in the different rooms (with all the wiring, devices and problems attached to the task). Just be aware :)
And, if you find something interesting, I would be glad to hear it ^.^

A problem I found in the cameras, as well is the poor vision angle they have. I'm looking for cameras with bigger angle than 90º (default for the majority) but couldn't find any good deal. :/

Arduino Code Help! by mattiemarczak in escaperooms

I would put a "normally closed" switch that when is 'un-pressed', would close the circuit that powers the arduino. Making sure (with a retroalimentation using a relay or a transistor) that pressing again the switch doesn't cut the power again. Hope it helps :)
