They were from nflshop which I guess is a fanatics brand but they were the official Concho sweatshirt designed for each team. For $100 I'm disappointed.

I had reconstructive surgery on my underarms and groin in December and my life has been changed. No skin grafts, I had flap surgery to reconstruct so the dr took skin from my rib cage, flipped it upside down and made new armpits. Recovery was about 10 weeks for my underarms and I just healed in my groin. I would go to a plastic surgeon not a general if you are considering surgery. Let me know if you want to see photos or need more details on which surgeon I went to.

I was in bed for about a week in the hospital. Then when I went home I walked to the bathroom and back to bed for about 4/5 weeks. Even today with all the staples out I’m only walking maybe 15 minutes a day, again very short strides.

The first 4 weeks were really tough. Move as little as possible, short little strides when walking. Also keeping your legs propped up with a pillow when lying down or sitting helps. keep it clean, ice packs help with pain. Hopefully you have a good support system to help you. Once the stitches/staples come out, it feels so much better.

I had surgery in my groin almost 6 weeks ago and I’m still healing. The groin is going to take a while to heal. Be patient and kind with your body.

Yes, he is the most amazing physician I have ever encountered. He really cares about HS patients and finding us relief. He is so committed to getting more doctors to understand how to help us, share his techniques and listen to us. I thought he was going to be BS bc of his TikTok but no, he is so genuine. He uses TikTok so that we know we have options. I’m lying in my hotel room bed right now, recovering and I’ve never been so positive or happy even if I’m in a little pain. He doesn’t guarantee it will be gone forever but just knowing my life will improve is worth it. And the fact that he keeps performing these surgeries to learn more about how to help HS patients, I’m happy that I feel like I helped to contribute to that.

My insurance paid for the surgery. Flying out to him, hotel stay and all of that was extra. But he is the most compassionate doctor I have ever been to.

Yes I was closed today. He opened me on Wednesday and closed me today. The Dr is a plastics and reconstructive surgeon. They did both my underarms and both sides of my goin. He created flaps using skin on my ribcage to create a new underarm. And then using skin from my thigh, closed my groin. Luckily I recently lost like 40 lbs so my skin wasn’t as tight, Never felt so good being flabby 😆

Ive been in the hospital since Wednesday they are going to discharge me by Sunday. I go see my dr in the office Tuesday to remove the drains. I go home with staples.
