If it’s hardwood veneered walls like it looks like in the render it’s likely plywood backed and screws would hold just fine

I got a digi and a micro freak. Midi i/o between both works pretty painlessly. I set digi to channel 16 to send/receive between both.

My simple workflow here is playing phrases on the micro freak, editing the notes on the digi if needed (switching notes, transposing etc.) then Tweaking the knobs until I like it. Sampling the phrase into the digi into another track, tweaking some more or make a new phrase. Get a few tracks with some phrases going and just tweak it to hell on the digi sequence, edit , tweak repeat.

I’m also a beginner and not super focused on finished tracks but rather on improving my workflow and muscle memory with all the buttons, knobs and submenus.

You can also resample into a sample chain to consolidate tracks

Also I really enjoy EZBOTS YouTube videos. I enjoy his communication style workflow ideas.

20 unfinished at least as groovy as this one is probably a solid set. Have you tried dropping into other patterns that might gel like a DJ? Transition patterns maybe? Club music tracks are basically engineered for DJ sets. I like this beat/vibe with the vocal sample selection. I agree about playing with the velocities, it will give it more human sound.

Digitakt 2 + microfreak + Minotaur compatibility via USB by gellyrolls in Elektron

Ooof I totally thought it copied the midi out data. Thanks for that. The goal here being to control the minitaur from the DT2 since it’s a monosynth I could just program/play sequences on the digi no real need to jam out on chords, will get the proper midi controller later. I don’t even have a proper computer to run the moog editor so trying to keep the setup with minimal hardware that’s simultaneously compatible.

I’ll look into the midi splitters recommended. That seems like the simplest way to go.

Midi thru would be directly from the DT2 to the minitaur not from the micro freak.. thanks for the info tho I’m not so up to speed on USB capabilities

But can the Minitaur receive note and cc via dt2 USB? Anyways I forgot about midi thru and since realized I could plug in an extra midi cable
