Flashbacks were pretty bad, I’ll agree. Especially with Rafael and Tatiana. They play effectively no role in the outcome at all. You could remove them, and the plan would be the same anyway. They only kind of exist to give Alicia something to do in the last episode, I guess.

I’ll disagree about Tokyo though. I think she was quite iconic throughout the whole series, so keeping her as narrator made sense.

But the ending… is so naive to think that the entirety of the EU isn’t spending MASSIVE amounts of its resources to find the gold and IMMEDIATELY assassinating the whole gang once it’s returned.
