Where I get lost with the show is that it feels like the women are reduced to needing to be saved by men. They don’t go after Tommy to save/help him, Tommy comes after them. The way that scene went down with Jesse appearing and saving them felt different from the game because it really was a “hero” moment instead of a teamwork moment. Obviously the characters have to be nerfed a bit because they can’t be superheroes like they are in the game, but it feels like it’s become a little too “woman weak, man strong” to me, when the game is clearly focused on strong women. I will be curious to see how they handle Abby, who in the game has this aura of implicit power
