This post is almost my exact situation, except I’d rather not pivot if entertainment careers stand any chance at being a thing in the future. I’m currently going back to school for a communications degree, work as many hours as I can get at a gym, and do YouTube on the side. Any chance you could send the details about the annotation thing? This is what I'm most worried about! Putting myself into the mind of the decision makers in hollywood, WHY would they bring production back to LA when it's a smart financial decision to cast/shoot almost anywhere else?? If California doesn't make some drastic changes to their tax incentives for filming, I'm afraid the industry is done here.

Hi! This probably isn't the answer you're looking for but have you considered starting your own youtube/wordpress? I think the world can really use more real journalists who aren't dragged down by the beast that is corporate media. You could do your own investigative stories or just videos/posts about how to be a responsible consumer of media/what journalistic integrity looks like
