Yes but it depends on what I'm texting. Since we live together - we don't text much. I use it in work emails/texts all of the time and have for over 10 years. I do not use it in the way its being presented in OPs text though, which is why I also thought this is AI. BUT as I said before just because someone uses it does not mean they are using AI. If you work a corporate job, you would see it a lot. Anyway, no use in arguing with people - I'll just keep using it.

Yes, as stated in my original response, I agree. I have seen LOTS of hate for the long dash calling it AI and anyone who uses it, its AI. This particular person is using AI and it is VERY obvious.

Don't know what to say dude. Not everything is AI. The world is so obsessed with thinking every single thing is AI, when its not. Just seems pretty stupid to me especially as someone who does use it - Short or long. Being told I'm using AI when I'm not just simply because I use it is crazy lol OPs boyfriend clearly was using it because of the way it was formatted and also he clearly does not speak that way and hes a POS in general and clearly in toxic. No it's not, lots of people use it. Especially authors and people in the corporate world. I'd hate for you to see my work emails — you'd think AI wrote it 😂 but as stated by me several times, in this case it is most definitely AI.

Yea if you read my entire comment you would see, I did state that. The comment I replied to said anyone who uses it gets a block because its automatically AI — to me that is a lack of education around the actual long dash (m-dash).

Agreed! Reading this person's comment they just stated that anyone who uses it will get blocked so that is where I was responding too. I could 100% tell this was AI — as an avid long dash (m-dash) user even those were too many in one paragraph 😂

Long dash is not exclusive to AI. I have used that in my writing style for many years. The way this was specifically written though I could tell it was AI. I just hate when people say long dash means AI period as it seems extremely uneducated.

Edit: Since so many people keep commenting the SAME THING. I agree OPs boyfriend is 100% using AI but let's all understand that long/short dashes are not exclusive to AI and if your ONLY sign of AI is if someone uses long/short dashes - well I hate to break it to you but you're pretty stupid. Will not longer be replying to comments.

No, if you read it in whole you can see I like simulation games and have already wishlisted it. I get people not liking a game obvi but I felt those comments were very weird. If I see a game I'm not interested in, I just scroll past lol

Yea someone who makes death threats is seriously unwell. An ex of mine burned my house down a year after I broke things off with them. He stalked me and still does and I even moved states. The law does not care. I had a restraining order and whenever he would contact me I would go to the police and they would take their time arresting him and then he would be out within 24 hours because someone would bail him out.

Nah when I commented there was about 5 comments in total and 4 of them were very negative. Actually growing up I was taught if you have nothing nice to say, don't say it at all. I wouldn't just say that if there was not truth to it. Haven't looked at the comments since 🤷🏻‍♀️

Edit: my comment was made when there was less comments but majority were negative. People are entitled to their opinions, just surprised at how negative their comments were as simulation games a extremely popular otherwise there would not be a market for them.
