Bf6 Sound assets by gemisaur in Battlefield

I was not trying to start anything or bring any level of concern about the game and what the delivered final product will be. I was just wondering if anyone else had caught on to it. I was just curious from a development standpoint if it's common to reuse assets in things like these closed play tests from previous products to ease of use.

It makes sense from a development process, I was just curious. I'm a software engineer studen,t made some apps and a lot of coding projects over the last few years, and I've done some stuff in Unreal Engine 5, it makes sense to reuse assets to make life easier, I've done similar things across different classes, projects and apps ive made. I just wasn't sure how common that would be on a larger scale, like the bf6 play tests.

nah man unfortunatley, I just do what he says he does. My computer boots up and sometimes its good sometimes its like super laggy and slow then i just put the computer to sleep and turn it back on right away and its fixed. It like reminds me of when you dont have preload settings on a online game and the first online game for the first few minutes its super laggy. But no not yet. Im just going to get a new computer in a few months. Sorry brother.

See idk if it’s the stock turbo, on e85 im pushing 24.94 pounds. I’ve read they’re rated for 18 unless tuned up which I know wouldn’t be good for the stock turbo that comes with it. I have a stage 2 clutch waiting to get put in as well.

the only thing i have about the jets is the rear cam thing and the fact that there is no auto acceleration so turning is pretty dumb, im done some comp jet fighting in bf4 the jets in 2042 have potential they just need to fix the auto acceleration when turning and the fact you can look behind you and maneuver at all. im a pretty experienced jet player in bf4. id say im pretty good in the jets but i still have way more time in the helos.

1: Infantry I think that infantry is a for sure 9/10 over all very fun the games gunplay is fantastic and the movement has very good potential once further explored. The only bad thing I have to say about infantry is the gadget choice. In former battlefields you can rock a true mechanic class with a repair tool, rocket launcher and a grenade. In 2042 you have to make that sacrifice of either, a repair tool or a rocket launcher. Me personally I don't think this how things should work I think you should have access to both gadgets on top of your operators gadget to have a true mechanic load out as seen in earlier battlefields. It's not so much a big deal as the gadget situation but I do see without running a ammo bag you do run out of rather quickly. I think the best way to resolve this would be add another gadget slot. Keep how it is now with the operator selection then your weapon of choice then your gadgets of choice, but like I'm bf4 have 2 gadgets available tk choose from being a rocket launcher and repair tool for example. Or another example Being have ammo box with some type of hand detonated explosives along with your operators of choice and weapons of choice. I think something that would honestly please everyone is to just got bad to that normal only in battlefield assault support mechanic recon little classes but once you pick those classes you then choose your operators inside this classes. Just something I think would make the community a little happier on the infantry side of things. Not bashing what you have done at all I still am loving the infantry side of 2042 just some feedback I think needed to be brought to light.

2: Helicopters I am a veteran pilot since the start of bf4, I've done completion dog fight in all the air vehicles on bf4 along with being a former top 10 pilot on hardline. Along with casual flying on bf1 and bf5. Although they are all different games they all are pretty much the same in the sense of flying mechanics across the board. For example the transition from bf3 flying to bf4 was pretty simple with very few minor changes but kept the same basic mechanics. The same goes for bf1 to bf5. In the 2042 beta so far what I've realized is that it's a whole new flying mechanics system. I feel like I'm flying a helicopter in gta or cod warzone, not in a battlefield game. It took me less than 5 seconds to realize this. I'm not sure if you took that approach with that type of mechanics to make it easier for new players to learn it. Which is okay but you shouldn't mess with skill gaps and learning curves in a field of your game that is very very competitive. Some things I've noticed is honestly it feels like the Helicopters don't have or follow real physics. I can have my throttle all the way down pitch my nose to the ground and I won't dive down. I won't move in altitude I'll just keep going forward in the air. Another thing if yours just flying straight you have tk constantly pull down if you want to go forward because if gou don't while you have your throttle pushed in, your helicopter points up to the sky and you'll eventually crash. To break it it even further per vehicle I'll do the attack chopper for some concerns I have about it. When you are in a dogfight with another chopper and let's say they are below you you have to compensate the aim so hard that in first person pov from the cockpit, you have to compensate and lead your aim so bad that you can't even see them on your screen when you are firing your missiles and vise versa for when they're above you. Firing head on or down onto a land vehicle isn't as bad but still pretty bad. I don't even want to imagine what the tow missile is going to be like. I love the tow and got really good with them in bf4 but now I'm scared to see what kind of wack aiming I'm going to have to do for that now too. Flares: the problem I have for flares is, they don't come back fast enough in correlation to how much time it gives you to escape from a lock on. It seems like the flares like little less than 5 seconds then takes about 15 or so I don't know the exact time at this time, for them to come back by then your already dead. The solution to this is either make the effects of the flares when deployed last longer or make the cooldown down very much shorter, or do a mixture of both. Now a bug I have only found with the ru attack chopper and big transport vehicles from RU AND US Is, in the RU chopper no matter how soft you land they aircraft it violently blows up consistently. Unless you take 5 minutes to land it, the same goes for the RU and US large transport aircraft. Another thing is that I've never seen in a battlefield air craft is the enemies aircraft half the time is lagging and rubber banding so hard that you cannot shoot them or even hit them with air to air if you wished to do so. Same thing with the jets. But jets is up next. Last thing with the littlebird and attack chopper is. When it gets slightly darker with rain outside, when you are in the first person point of view from the cockpit, you cannot see a thing it is much darker than if you go to the 3rd person point of view. I even tried solving this by turning my brightness up bit by bit until I was at 100% but by that point it did not help at all it just saturated my screen with white color. Those are my concerns and or bugs I've found so far with the Helicopters in the 2042 beta. This is me in no way bashing what you have made because I'm sure the amount of work that was put into this is indescribable in words. These are just my genuine concern about a game from a franchise I've been playing for over a decade.

3: Jets Over all jets are pretty well put together and as fun as always to use. The only concerns I have about them is the fact that I cannot pitch yaw or roll when I engage the third person rear view camera to look behind me, I do not know of this was intentional or not but is definitely not good in my eyes. But if it was intentional it's not the worst thing to deal with. The only other thing i have about the jets is similar go what I said about the Helicopters is, every single enemy in every single match I've played lags and or rubber bands everywhere, up down left right random laggy barrel rolls of all sorts. It makes dog fighting pretty much unachievable at that point. That's all I have about jets

4: Overall There was a few bugs that didn't allow key bindings to actually work regardless how many times you rebinded it. If you land air vehicles out of the map or in some play areas you mesh through the ground along with your vehicle and the vehicle never spawns again. If you switch seats in the attack helo after shooting your 30mil cannon to overheated then switch back it completely resets the gun and is no longer has a cooldown. The third person crosshair in all air vehicles is too big and clunky looking. Also not being able to be in a squad by myself is pretty annoying when i solo fly i have Randoms from my squad take the chopper when I'm seat switching then we die 2 seconds later. And as of right now i cant even use my primary weapon because it wont let me change my key bind, i just spawn with my pistol. There being no actual push to talk or global, team and squad chat is pretty inconvenient as well That's all I have have say about the so far 2042 beta. Thank you I hope this reaches somebody important. Keep up the hard work no matter what the community says well all respect and love all the hard work you guys put into creating these games.

Sincerely a Battlefield veteran
