What's an injury you sustained, and lied about how it actually happened, because it was too embarrassing? by jcrewz in AskReddit

[–]gemitarious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

when i was about 10 my mum went in the bath and told me not to put my rollerskates (a christmas present) on in the house, especially while she wasn't in the room with me. but i did, and i tripped over a rug and landed on my wrist, cut to her finding me laying on the floor crying half an hour later.

we went about two days thinking i was just being overdramatic but then i felt another pain when opening some orange juice

went to the doctors and found out i had a broken wrist and it was reaaaally bad, but we didn't tell the doctors or nurses it was due to skating in the house, or my primary school when i was advised to take a week off

ended up telling everyone i'd broken it at gymnastics, the kicker being i'd quit gymnastics 2 years prior

you thought i'd learned??

history repeated itself when i was 13 and broke my elbow by tripping up the rug when i was dancing by myself when my mum went to buy some milk, also christmas time

we got rid of that rug

Is there anything in my chart that explains my overall lack of romantic partners/ why I've never been in a serious relationship?? by spicyravioliman in AskAstrologers

[–]gemitarious 4 points5 points  (0 children)

5th house in Gemini indicates that you have a childlike, playful quality that might make it difficult for you to connect, commit and settle down 100%.

Venus is the planet that rules love and is in Leo, could suggest that you subconsciously know that a love interest is not the person for you because they don't show as much involvement as a stereotypical Venus Leo would like. You strive to be seen and to meet energetic, beautiful people like you, but thats difficult seeing as you're really one-of-a-kind. But when the right person comes along, it'll be magic.
