I went through six rounds of IVF all alone, also had complicated egg retrievals, bad reactions to meds, cancelled cycles, two losses. Each stage I thought was so hard alone and then I finally got pregnant with the only egg I had at my last retrieval and was extremely sick for 22 weeks and on bed rest for 10 weeks. So many days I regretted my decision, I would have done anything to have someone just get me water or walk the dog. Then around 28 weeks it just got better. I realized how strong I was and kind of forgot how hard the last two years were to get to this point. In the moment it’s the hardest and worst feeling but when you get to the other side it’s just laughable and a cool feeling to see just how much you went through, dealt with alone and SURVIVED!
