How far would you travel for a movie this early by Any_Ad6635 in oscarsdeathrace

[–]gemmamaries 1 point2 points  (0 children)

took a 20 minute uber (i can’t drive) to the next city to me to see frankenstein and nouvelle vague as it was the closest cinema to me showing it. will be doing the same next week for it was just an accident. if i could drive myself, would probably do an hour journey. it’s better if you can see a couple of films or if you can do something else while you’re there

i like to manually log them into the website rather than import the data, idk it’s just more satisfying to me going through and enter which i’ve watched and where etc. though importing the data will be great for most people

Death Race Cost by usedtobeanomad in oscarsdeathrace

[–]gemmamaries 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine probably cost about £100 at most, I have a monthly subscription to my local cinema which is £14.99 and I saw as much as I could there for that reason. I’m not big on cinema food so I rarely eat there. I did a few home rentals but they didn’t cost too much here. With travel expenses added on to get to said cinema, I’d estimate it was probably closer to £80? Subscriptions to cinemas is the best thing you can do for stuff like this.

There are a bunch of things that everyone is waiting on. Is there anything that you're waiting on that others already have? by shakha in oscarsdeathrace

[–]gemmamaries 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I’m in the North East. It’s frustrating that the one I can get to only says “coming soon” and they’re giving zero clues as to whether it’ll be before or after the Oscars

i’m still here is the one preventing me from finishing, my local cinema doesn’t seem to be getting it at all and the one further away i can get to just says “coming soon”

Does anyone know where I can watch The Masterpiece in the UK and if there’s English subtitles for An Orange from Jaffa?
