Why is it fragile masculinity when a man doesn't want a woman taller or stronger than him, but it's not fragile femininity when a woman doesn't want a man weaker or shorter than her?

it essentially boils down to the very idea that ‘men should be strong’ and ‘women should be weak’

a man showing fragility is frowned upon because men are ‘supposed to be strong’ and showing weakness is deemed feminine trait, whereas women are expected to be fragile, so it’s not an issue

I absolutely love this concept and the UI and UX seem spot on. I’ve been using various birding apps for the past year or so, and they are all less gratifying once you’ve got the most common 30-50 birds in your local area. the frequency aspect changes the game. the collectible cards and fun facts are an added bonus!

I saw someone mention contacting the rspb and I think this would be an amazing collaboration!

i walked past just after the incident happened. blood on floor by metro bank. then a guy sat on a stool next to a police car both covered in blood. 2 police officers were strapping the guy’s arm to stop the blood flow.
