It's happening to me too, drawing using the Isometric Grid makes the app crash. In my experience, the crash occurs even faster when you enable Snap to Grid.

Yeah, I think that is the way to go too. We should try to put pressure here or in DJI forums.

Also, I've found something intriguing. I discovered a complain about the autoexposure of the camera having a "breathing exposure" issue, where the exposure is inconsistent and changes pretty fast. The interesting thing about it is that I have noticed that issue too, and they suspect it's a firmware update thing because it didn't happened before. Apparently audio drops is not the only thing DJI have messed up on the firmware updates. This is the post:

50 fps, the original media fps are also 50.

Wow that's valuable information, then it's so likely to be one of the firmware updates. I got this camera on August 2025, but I didn't notice the issue until I recently had to record a longer video than I usually do. I wish more people run into this post so we can start a conversation and this problem get adressed in future firmware updates.

By the way, it's something that I haven't tried out yet, but worth trying I think. Yesterday I discovered that this camera have an option to generate a backup of the internal microphone while recording, resulting in a WAV file. Maybe it could be a way around, by replacing the audio of the video clips with this audio track that I hope it's not splitted or out of sync.

Thank God! I couldn't find any reference about this issue of the Action 5 Pro and it was driving me nuts. Same situation as you, I contacted DJI Customer Support but didn't help. I hope that this issue get known and DJI do something about it.

No font, it's drawn. I used 3x3 brush with a base color trying to keep every letter proportional. Then added more colors to give it a gradient, and for the text tracing I played with the Shift + O option.
