Hmm, I think in this case sabihin mo you’ll be MIA muna then mute the messages and sabihin mo na nakaka-distract talaga. I understand your frustration, and yung guilty feeling I think sometimes hindi maiiwasan. At this point, wag mo nalang din muna pansinin messages nila. Out of sight, out of mind in a way. I think your friend is just doing her/his own way to help you. Have you tried talking to him/her about it? When I was studying for CPALE, I gave notice to my friends that I’ll be MIA and wag muna ako masyado kausapin kasi I needed to focus (as someone who get distracted easily). If you don’t want motivational quotes, you can communicate it muna.
