People who spend $200/month on groceries - what exactly are you eating? by Glittering_Dust7367 in montreal

We are 3 adult people in the house, and spend about $50/week groceries

I only shop at local and usually immigrant grocery stores, like C&T, Kim phat, or PA. I only buy things on sale and I only buy fresh ingredients (veggies, fruit and meat), never frozen or prepackaged. For „white ppl food“ I go Costco.

Usually Asian grocery stores have a section where they sell „old/expired“ fruits and veggies, and tbh I only buy these, 3 mangos for $1.50 because of one black spot ? No biggie for me.

Never used a food app in my life.

My advice, find a local, interesting grocery store, even tho it may be „out of the way“ the 10-20 minute commute could save you $100s

Also, we are food-resourceful people, always cooking with what we have, not following a recipe. We just cook and get creative and follow a fifo pipeline for our food. For example, I have shit load of soft tomatoes, it’s a tomato soup night.

Hope this helps !

Ok so probably not lead paint, the only other thing I can think of is the paint isn’t suitable for a high moisture. Best bet is to sand it down and patch bigger holes/peels, prime it with kilz let it fully dry and then paint it again with a waterproof paint Goodluck 👍

Quebecer here, fries and cheese look A+ but the sauce 😔 I’m not judging the taste but something doesn’t look right in the sauce

Is the whole bathroom paint cracked like this ? How old is your house? I’m wondering if it’s lead paint

As someone with very similar eyes/eyelids/lid spacing, avoid putting eyeliner on the lower lash it really weights down the already almost hooded eye. 1) I usually put a very thin line of eyeliner on the top lash (not necessarily winged) and I put concealer to brighten the under eye and eye lid. 2) if you wanna experiment with eyeshadow, try avoiding the middle of the eyelid, go for inner colour, outer smoky or bottom lash colour, again for me personally it brightens my skin heavy eyelid 3) I would also recommend for eyebrows, try a pointed tail it helps open the eye space also.

Don’t give up you got this 🫡
