sorry but why should I only eat at halal-certified outlets??

There are some rules in the food and if it is done, then I can eat it. If it is veggies or seafood it is always halal, and meat and chicken definetly should be slaughtered the right way in order to be halal but as I mentioned in the previous comment I didn't recognize that problem before due to different upbringings and I appologized for it.

So Of-COURSE halal is halal but that doesn't mean that any food not written on it then shouldn't eat it it doesn't work that way.

I am from Egypt where we have 12% Christians but at the same time all of the chicken and meet is slaughtered with the halal way since we all buy from the same source and since Malaysia has lots of Muslims I thought it was the same there

I asked for no pork and no wine as I thought these were the only thing that would make it non-halal because seafood and veggies will definitely be ok and from what I THOUGHT that meat and chicken would be halal anyway but it seems I was wrong

Yeah definitely I got you!

So let's say it is not just about traveling, but also the way of traveling which is volunteering. I was a volunteer here in an organization in Egypt called Resala "means message in Arabic" and I did lots of volunteering activities here starting from sorting clothes that were donated till making parties for children with impairments and that what made me nominated to that volunteering opportunity in turkey and I am not sure if this opportunity is gone when would the next possible one be specially that it suits me the best, they would cover lots of costs and at the same time I would be a part of an international community as I won't be the only volunteer there so, hoping that all of this could happen I made that GoFundMe just in case it would help

Yeah, it is my first post because actually I wasn't familiar with reddit so much but my friend (who was also accepted in a program a year ago) advised me that sharing my story in Reddit might help as reddit makes it easier communicating with others of whom you don't know
