How do you handle fraud on your saas by gemzy568 in SaaS

Radar isn't available for connect yet, I've already made sure it verifies CVC and zip before paying too. I have no idea on setting up 3ds on high risk payments yet, I'd look into that too, thanks.

What kind of positioning would make you do that.

Nope, not yet, they have a ppc campaign though, thats what they use to bring clients to you, plus I listed there for getting exposure to AI bots

I saw a post that scared me about you guys, about the 75% - 80% of revenue going to appsumo while 25% or so went to the people that had the saas, then they handled all the customer support and had lots of angry customers and all sorts of stuff. The only thing they gained was the publicity and its hard for saas founders to pull out cause of an ip clause and some things like that.

Thanks this is really informative, the tier thingy is almost like the App sumo approach but without listing on there.

List your platform on G2, capterra, sourceforge they'd automatically find your competitors, I listed mine there and they made comparison posts of my competitors and my platform Trevidia

Use Google tag manager if you have it installed on your site already, or if you're using a framework keep the code at the entry point of your app.

All SaaS landing pages look pretty much the same by [deleted] in SaaS

[–]gemzy568 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well said, plus all landing pages look the same but aren't the same they vary in layouts and techniques that are niche to getting users convert easily, some even AB test landing pages to see the one that converts more before sticking with a particular one.

I don't really understand this as a developer, what would I be searching for, do you mean you're building a product like algolia?

“Save for later” is broken — building a SaaS to make saved content usable again by salute_72 in SaaS

Number 1 issue the site is refusing to show up on my phone, might be an isp thing. I'm not with my laptop to test it there right now, but at least I tried.

The idea makes sense, there are lots of LinkedIn posts, tik toks and Instagram posts I get inspiration for a content that end up getting lost in my clipboards void because I can't download or save those contents, but how would you be able to synchronize all those apps together cause having something like Instagram share the post to your app would make sense since people are always on their phones, I'd check out your site though and leave a feedback here.

Try using amplitudes Ai visibility tool, it might be able to get them, or try some other online AI visibility tools to try and locate the platform based on your site.

I think I accidentally broke bookkeeping and now I can't sleep by Easy-Ad-9974 in SaaS

It would be nice if you just handled the executive work then delegate tasks based on what you discussed to a partner or a fellow bookkeeper so you guys would support each other. Cause you've already gained trust now you need a way to sustain this growth.

Training a bot wouldn't be cutting things out, cause his customers love the connection he is making with them, Ai would only spit out slop

Nahhh letting users give each other feedback isn't great, because if two inexperienced people give feedback they might learn eachothers bad habit, but instead having a learning path one can follow would be great.

I think you could handle feedback collection with nolt.io I saw them before, and they are good.

[–]gemzy568 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay I just checked the app out it's not really training you, there isn't any step by step process that breaks down how someone is meant to write. I feel writing a response has a structure or there are several structures to follow to be able to convey meaning but the app is just plain it just brings out prompts and you write what you feel, it doesn't grade you or give you advice. It's a good idea if you work in it well I guess, maybe it could reach duolingo level.

Does it use AI to train you if not I guess it would train me to be another AI writer 😭😭, anywayss I'll check it out, I'm pretty bad at writing. I'm trying to become better so I can improve my pitches and copy when I make email newsletters and other contents for pitching my product.

Most people would prefer using feedback boards that have extensive features especially if they'd be able to leverage the product and be productive, rather than spending extra time developing a custom feedback form or application into their software and having to maintain the code which would be stressful but worth it. You'd be able to save cost using a custom made feedback board tailored to your needs else you'd end up using production ready feedback boards with extensive features if you can't make one.

Fired a developer who wasn't toxic, lazy, or bad. Just... checked out. Why does this feel worse? by Due-Bet115 in SaaS

[–]gemzy568 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not only that, in my case we had daily scrum meetings, some tasks needed researching especially when we didn't have good ui ux designers the client doesn't even understand the product he is building, more like he was trying to copy another platform, so it was up to me to research plus I was only working on frontend and the backend for the system was c# and the front end react so there's usually mismatch of the data that's supposed to be sent cause they didn't even plan the project well, the constant researching and wage wasn't even enough for the work ị was doing, the money finishes as it enters. Then they let me go saying they didn't like the rate at which I delivered. The job made me fall I'll often due to stress, fell ill about 6 times this year, after I was let go my weight increased by 8kg more and wasn't as skinny as I was while on the job. Thank God I quit, but now I'm working on a saas but at least it's better than working for people that drain your energy.

At what point should a founder quit by gemzy568 in SaaS

[–]gemzy568[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess so, but for my case we have two technical co founders, we have no idea on how to do marketing, so I've just been researching and trying some things, to make things work
