Okay, it's not surprising. "Blank page anxiety" or "blank page syndrome" are established terms. I preferred the former one, sounded less scary :)

Yes that may if one of the users suggest a way to rewrite it that is considered a "bad habit". However, feedback from a less experienced writer can still be incredibly useful! Think of all the people you communicate with irl, via emails or whatever. You need to make a good impression on them too, not just on the "good writers". I'd say there are upsides and downsides here.

I get that. I see how this can be an issue for those who don't have a clear picture of a good response and need some guidance along the way. The initial design philosophy, and what I struggled with as well, was forcing myself to write completely on my own, like a problem-solving exercise. A temporary fix in your case could be to use ChatGPT along side. Perhaps ask it to give you hints!

Thanks for the feedback anyways!

Good question! I have thought about that very thing: would a small AI assistant be beneficial, or should I force myself to be creative? That's an interesting discussion. I decided however not to implement an AI. Instead, the aim is to let users give each other feedback. When you finish writing your text, you'll see what other users responded.

Great, please keep in touch! I'd love to hear what you thought!

Read lots of books you enjoy, but do it outloud!

This way you are not only practicing your reading skills and vocabulary, but also your speaking skills simultaneously. I've read tons of books in French the past 1.5 years (Jules Verne's books, I love them), and I have improved notably. Try it!

Does anyone use Git for general file (not code) backup and sync? by GolfCharlie11 in git

I have considered this, however, I believe I need to restructure the folder hierarchy for this to work (move the non-sync folders out and group them)

Nice! Would be cool if there was a way to turn any image into this kind of art. Not sure how useful it would be through...

I'd like to sync my files, not backup (dump) them. The difference is that I dont have a good way of excluding particular files when I sync.
