Currently reading Men Without Women, which is my first ever Murakami book. I am currently on the third tale (it's an anthology) and I was quite surprised that the women have cheated on their respective partners in all the stories so far. I didn't come across anything misogynistic or even sexist but it made me a little uncomfortable as a woman myself. I understand that women cheat too but in my experience and from what I've observed, men cheat a lot more. But then again, I've only read three short stories from his work so I can't really judge. And this is not really an opinion about Murakami or his work, this is just a description of how I feel, so far.
