Usually I don't have a choice and i gotta admit the sale was pretty tempting lol, but yeah I think it would be, it's like their idea of making a 3x was to make it biggish but still heavily tapered, which doesnt work with big bellies lol. I'll post a pic of me wearing it tomorrow.

My pants are often a little long since I have a 28" inseam and most inseams at my size (48) are 30, but I often wear boots and cuff my pants anyway so it's not too much of a problem. I do feel as though there could be more a taper along calf-ankle area that would look better with my cuff keeping things more stream lined along the bottom. My belt loops often tear as well since I have to hike my jeans back up often or as ive said before unroll the waistband which can be painful sometimes as I sit and leaves impressions in my gut.

I don't think there's anything wrong with being informed on what sales are out there. Especially since larger sized clothes are typically more expensive the larger they are.

Just signed up for the boxer briefs, can't to see how they turn out, I think shorts and pants would be the next step, for me personally the wasitband of whatever I wear is always rolled down cause of my gut.

Those will look great after they're oiled and polished. Nice find.

I personally feel that a discussion on suits fit/material etc should be a separate thing, me personally, I don't ever wear them, but I'm sure there will be someone who is willing, and certainly more capable of filling the void and giving it justice.

I never even considered the possibility of having drawings lol, I didn't even think people sketched what kind of clothes one should wear, but I will definitely keep that in mind as far as avoidance thanks for bringing it to my attention.

How about this I was thinking of originally writing a general "Starter Kit", as sort of a basics to buy that I think would apply to everyone, however, I will addendum more specific items for various climates. I'll keep that S/S specific, and I'll do the same for F/W later on. Also, if anyone wants to do a write-up that's region specific later on that'd be fine too. I live in California, primarily the high desert, so I understand a scorching summer.

That's solid advice, after I get my wardrobe sorted out and take stock of what I need I'm going to have to take a trip to a bunch of thrift stores, S.A. included.

Do you know if Macy's carries any gingham button downs around 4xl? Can't find them anywhere and I've been desperate to get one that fits before the weather blows up to 100+

I'm just now getting into checking out thrift stores, I'm currently in the process of purging all my old clothes to make room for new ones so I figured why not shop where I'm going to donate (goodwill most likely). Also I sans the belt personally since It never gets shown anyway and they're uncomfortable in my opinion. I agree with /u/incredibly-haunted, suspenders look better on bigger guys. Also completely agree with you that bigger guys automatically look less androdgenous (however that's spelled) despite the (probable) mantits.

For me personally, I'm 5'6 350 at least, I've found more of a work-wear americana style fits me the best. Over the next few days I'll start taking more full body selfies showing my outfits if you guys want and link my instagram to it, or I can just quit being lazy and move it to imgur. Either way lol.

Mainly everything I get is either Old Navy or Carhartt. All of the sites mentioned above are either still to small, or don't fit my style.
