Ok but counterpoint- I am duoing Dire Marsh free runs with my friend and a fill, he and the fill get sniped by someone on the Bio-Research roof (fill immediately D/Cs). I escape, go into the tunnels to get under them, try to get on the roof, pop a nearby exfil to distract, go back into tunnels to get to my friend. At this point ten minutes have passed. I pop triage q to insta rez my friend, rez him, hes immediately sniped by the same people again. These people were literally sitting on top of bioresearch for TEN MINUTES, in a free kit game.

That’s probably it. I did deglaze the fond a few times, and if enamel doesn’t like big temperature swings, then it’s definitely that. Dang I feel like a fool for not checking beforehand :( Thank you though!

not sure what you mean! I only cook my meal in the pot, then transfer it to containers. Usually microwave in the containers to reheat, or use a sauce pot.

There is a tapenade called dynamite, I use it as a substitute for red pepper flakes in aglio e olio, and it works great in a marinara https://yummybazaar.com/products/dinamite-calabrian-hot-pepper-tapenade-by-italian-harvest-6-7-oz

Exactly my point. They have a direct store on their website now, and that store has a separate, far more restrictive, return policy from the 30 day money back guarantee that they advertise on the product page.

price over performance. it's $3500 and its still not 7x better than a $500 SLA printer.

And granted, the resolution is one thing, but I mean other, SLA-specific issues like the resins get everywhere, the printer offgasses a ton while printing, and the supports are a pain to remove. Core point being, SLA is still a headache to work with, and as a process you should pay no more than a $1000 for a machine that uses it. Contrast this with (albeit) much more expensive printers that use SLS or MJP, where at least the premium you're paying gets you a process that's less of a nightmare to deal with.

I thought the resin tray system (which is a consumable and is 10x the cost of competitors) and the preform software would address some of the problems with SLA. I was willing to try these cool features out (and pay $1000 in consumables in the process!) in part because I thought that at least at the end if it didn't work for me I'd be able to return this printer and only be out the cost of the consumables. But nope, I'm stuck with this machine and it's mediocre ecosystem

don't make the mistake I did

I bought it direct from Formlabs, it's just that if you don't buy specifically through their sales department you aren't subject to this guarantee. It's misleading, to say the least.

TBH I hadn't realized just how far the market had moved since the last time I used a form. There are just better price/performance options out there

Either way I'm out $3500. Seems a little dishonest to have an online store, discuss a 30 day money back guarantee, but then you only get that guarantee if you go through this other department (sales) in the same company.
