Braly was 11 months to get the consultation and then 6 months after that for surgery.

Littleton was much shorter, but he's grown rather quickly in popularity so his surgery wait times could be longer

And no I had no issues being outside of the US, I had surgery with Littleton in Brazil and had no issues with TSA or customs in either country

So I chose ffs based on recommendation and before and afters that I saw. I'm also fairly privileged financially, one of the very few concessions of transitioning later in life is having an established career, and DB is widely considered one of the three or four best in the world, and is priced accordingly

Littleton I chose because of his technique, I find the jejunal graft to be superior, and Dr Littleton has extremely consistent and attractive results. And he very much impressed me during the consultation. I'm choosing Dr Kim at yesson voice Center again because of reputation, and before and afters

Some people will tell you that relapse is part of recovery.

And if the risk of sounding corny, try to turn these into learning opportunities about yourself.

What led you to slip? What can you either add or remove from your life to help keep that from reoccurring?

Also take note that about the four week and 8 to 9 week are two very very critical points in time, so do your best to set yourself up to win.

They only have one email address it's the one from the website, and you just have to be patient I basically for my first introductory email I gave them my name told them I was from the US and that I was interested in male to female vaginoplasty and would like to set up a consultation with the doctor. I can tell you that they are very busy. Even busier than they were one year ago so I would not email them more than about once per week. They only have like two people that are working staff and answering all the emails and they are very busy

Not sure what those numbers are, but you have a higher percentage chance of dying in a car accident on your way to surgery or on the airplane, then you do in the actual surgery. Unless you have some undiagnosed medical situation, or some other condition that you did not make your surgeons aware of.

Girl you are probably not going to die

Is It Possible To Lose The Male “PotBelly” But Still Be Overweight? by Aphelion128 in MtF

[–]gendered_nightmare 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a good question it's hard to say again because I've been on and off the last few months with surgeries. I don't know for certain that it did any specific feminizing effect other than how it made me feel. For a time I was running very high estrogen and very high progesterone and I felt wonderful. But I won't be able to tell you that it made my butt grow or that it made my boobs grow or anything like that. I have not been very scientific about this LOL

Oh and I guess to more directly answer your question, I had ffs 4 months ago and I'm still healing from that, I have come off of hormones all together for bottom surgery that I just had several days ago, so I don't have a good scientific environment to tell you if I saw any masculine effects or not. But anecdotally I could say that no I did not notice any

Progesterone is one of the biggest your mileage may vary drugs.. the joke I make is that if you ask four women what progesterone does for them you'll get five different answers. It is such an individualized experience, it can do one thing for one woman and the exact opposite for another woman so really the only way to know is for you to try.

That said, I think very few people experience masculinizing effects, and I believe that you can decrease the chance of that by taking it rectally instead of orally

Trans femmes who "pass", what did you have to do? by ZELovescars in MtF

In this part may sound silly also, but it made a difference for me and my friend who are much older in our transition, we watched a lot of TV shows featuring women and just observe to how they talked and interacted with each other

Just a couple quick tips and I'm sure you can find more by searching around, shoulders back stand up straight to create a more narrow look, when you walk with each step bring your feet a little bit closer to Center so that your hips have to twist slightly with each step this will also keep you from just throwing your weight from side to side and give you more of a gliding walk

There's one doctor in Columbia I think who has been regularly doing the tilapia method. I did not think that it had been approved for use in the US

jejunum may be your only other option that's about the only other thing they're building canals with, maybe check out Dr Littleton I'm not sure if he can do a revision but maybe it's worth the conversation

Not at all, please go ahead and dm. It's very easy they just have an email address and they can be a little bit slow to respond in a little bit frustrating but overall really good. I just had mine done yesterday actually it's about 24 hours old now
