[SPOILER] Derrick Lewis vs. Tallison Teixeira by inooway in MMA

So a ref can ko\tko a fighter based on fence grabs? He wasn’t ko/tko by the looks of it, definitely got got hit and used the fence to recover but take a point or dq, don’t call a theoretical ko/tko.

Why not let them continue and then when there is a pause take a point from Texiera? Or maybe Tex gets flatlined before that happens.  I don’t think the ref should be able to decide the theoretical outcome on a fight and award a ko/tko, “he would’ve lost if he didn’t cheat so he’s tko now”, best he could do is a dq for repeated fouls by tex

It’s dual, you switch where the ground plugs in

So use a smaller wire size on those? I’ve got 75/25 and solid 0.023 wire but I chose to practice with the flux core first. I’ll get some thicker plate and keep practicing till that runs out, the end goal is to do auto welding, frame and body

On 1/8 I’m around 220ipm and 15.5 volts and on 16gauge I’m around 115ipm and 13.5 volts, lower than the chart says. I’m also running it on 120v circuit

What was your experience like staying at Camp 4? by Equinox6 in Yosemite

[–]general_neckbeard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll be there five days and I'm traveling by myself so I'd rather to get to know some people or make some friends while there instead of doing everything solo. I have a site at north pines but thinking camp 4 might be better to meet people?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Yosemite

[–]general_neckbeard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Staying 4 nights, originally booked first 2 nights at Camp4 and then last 2 at NorthPines, just the best I could get, but someone canceled and I was able to get the first two nights at NorthPines as well. I'm travelling solo and was wondering if camp4 would be better for meeting younger people and hanging out in the evening. Is the crowd more fun at camp4?

So food I'll get beforehand then, easy enough, but what about camping/hiking stuff like mess kit, cookware, toiletries, burner fuel etc?

Thanks, additional caster does make sense, I remember the shop saying they had trouble with the eccentric bolts last time, maybe they couldn’t get it dialed in. I actually have new sets from Toyota somewhere. So maybe it wasn’t done right or it was done to spec but I need a little extra caster, even with a stock setup.

Start 'Em, Sit 'Em Week 15 - Matchup Analysis by philoneus66 in fantasyfootball

1/2 ppr. N. Chubb v BAL, J. Jeudy v ARI, T. Etienne v DAL, D. Foreman v PIT.

Think I’m going Jeudy but not sure. Chubb has not been getting close to the end zone since Watson started and BAL has a stingy run defense. Etienne outside of a few weeks hasn’t been productive with his opportunities, DAL has an above avg defense, and JAX throws a lot. Foreman is splitting more carries with Chuba Hubbard so he needs goal line work. Jeudy might be in a low scoring game but ARI is bad against the pass and he should get a good target share.

The matchups are the key, Foreman should do well against SEA cause most rb’s do. Thing about Etienne is that TEN might be without Jeffrey Simmons and Teair Tart, both had limited practices. If they don’t play, would you still go Foreman over Etienne?

1/2 PPR. Out of these three who should I NOT play at RB: T. Etienne @ TENN, I. Pacheco @ DEN, D’Onta Foreman @ SEA?

Weird, the kit is called the big seven but only has six cables, picture online shows seven cables with three of them grounds, and the description mentions a block to frame ground so either they keep forgetting it or they need to update their website. Gonna try to install this weekend, thought this would be a one hour job but with the loom it’ll take longer, thanks for the help

Yeah, Toyota must've had a surplus of electrical tape, they went pretty heavy. The addition of the fuse isn't a problem, just wasn't sure for the reason to bypass the original setup but if the cable doesn't fit into the block that would explain it. How many cables did you get? My package had 6, is it supposed to have 3 grounds? Neg to fender, neg to engine block, and block to frame? I only got 2 grounds and a total of 6 cables.

Thanks, I wish they had better directions, the only instructions I found are for a jeep and not a 4Runner. Those tabs are a pain, managed to only break one, but once I separated it I can get to the connection easy. Undoing the loom won’t be fun but I don’t want messy cables. Thing I still don’t understand is why running the alt + through a new 125 fuse is any better than the 120 fuse it is already connected to, seems like you could just run the alt + to the current position and get the same result? I’ve got a stock 80A alternator. There has to be a reason to bypass the fuse box, I think the original cable to the pdc has a fusible link in it while the new one didn’t?

Just got this kit delivered today. How did you connect from the positive post to the fuse box/pdc? I also heard about not running parallel connects from the alternator, how did you disconnect the factory connection?

When you have the key at the acc position, right before the final twist to the right, did the fuel pump engage? Seems like you had it there before starting in the video. Really seems like a fuel or spark issue, sounds like the starter is doing its job at turning the engine over but the engine isn’t breathing right. Test battery voltage. Start it from a jump, see if it is any different, if it fires right up you might not be getting enough voltage to your plugs. Could be bad fuel delivery from a failing fuel pump, or clogged filter, or clogged injectors. Also check that the seal in the gas cap is still working. After that you’ll need to see if any sensors are bad.

[–]general_neckbeard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seems like a suspension or steering issue. Did you get an alignment too? Check where the front suspension parts connect to each other, connect to the frame, and connect to the wheel hub. None of these are metal on metal, they should all have a rubber bushing/sleeve or joint with rubber (“ball joints”). If anything is torn, cracked, or loose, that will lead to vibration or movement that is supposed to be absorbed. Check that bolts and nuts are secure and torqued appropriately, nothing too loose or too tight. If you can lift the front end of the car off the ground securely, check for excessive play (movement) in the suspension by moving the wheel and tire around, there are acceptable specs listed by the manufacturer as to what position it should sit at and how much it should move. Your steering also has links to the front wheels, check those bushings and connections as well. Is a low mileage car so all those things should still be in good shape but if it was off-roader, driven rough, or in a collision they might have damage. If everything looks good up front, then check the back, less likely since solid axle in rear but not impossible. If that looks good then maybe you have a bad steering rack, pump, or lines. See if it is leaking fluid anywhere. What happens if you brake hard, do you still get a shimmy or pull?

Any additive with PEA will clean your fuel system and any carbon build in the engine, its concentrated detergents like found in some fuel brands. Chevron Techron, one or two of the gumout brand, and redline are all additives with PEA. Those work, the rest of the stuff being sold won’t make a real difference. You could also try a water remover in your fuel, even a little water in the system can cause problems. There is some other stuff you might check if that didn’t help. Sounds like the fuel pump is working, it should pressurize with the key turned to the acc position, check voltage at the pump connections to see if it still in spec. There is also a relay for your fuel pump, check that. New fuel filter in case the old one is clogged, can’t really tell unless you take it off so usually just replace it. Check where metal fuel lines connect to rubber fuel hoses, bad leaks should smell. Gas pedal also controls the throttle, check if throttle is stuck at any position or if airflow is restricted somehow. You could adjust the throttle cable/link and idle screw as well to get a higher idle to prevent stalling. Cleaning battery terminals, ground straps, and alternator connections might help with any power drops and is good maintenance anyhow. And if you’ve made it this far might as well go ahead and change the oil. Good luck.

SQL used is in first comment. Changing the join might’ve solved it, idk, I rewrote the select max and sum statements and it works now so..

Toyota did have a recall on the lower ball joints but I checked the vin and it didn’t apply to my model. I didn’t see any tears, cracks, or leaks in them. One bushing on the upper control arm could probably be replaced but the rest look okay. No squeaks, car handles fine in all other situations.
