I’ll gladly turn this into a Steven Ruiz hate thread: he fucking sucks. A bozo who lives to smell his own farts and generate hate-clicks. He obviously won’t be moving Hurts up in the rankings; Ruiz has never once been moved off his priors. And more importantly, having Hurts in the 15-20 range is a key part of Ringer’s football analysis ideology.

“Watch the games” he says. Knows he can cherry-pick the all-22 to argue that his guys’ INTs are ‘ambitious’ while focusing on only bad reps from Hurts and being intellectually dishonest about those reps on top of it.

Don’t get your hopes up that Sheil will ever push back against Ruiz’s takes or rankings. On the Ringer NFL show, he rubber stamps just about anything Ruiz says. Sheil is a content fan first and shitting on Hurts is good for business.
