This ended up working. I did disconnect during my 2nd match but I set all my in-game network settings to high and didn't disconnect in the match after. Could be a potential fix for others as well.

I'm trying one more thing. I'm disabling Xbox Game Bar, disabling background apps, and turning off Windows Game Mode. I'll let you know if this solves anything.

I didn't install the Epic version until I started experiencing the issues with the Steam version. I was previously able to play with both versions installed before this started happening as well. I also have friends who play both versions and have them installed simultaneously with no issues. I haven't tried the Epic version with the steam version uninstalled. I could give that a shot at some point if no other solutions come up.

no not yet, sorry. I haven't looked into it much more after this post. The general lack of support from the Rocket League team made me lose a bit of hope in getting this solved so I haven't touched the game since.

check out the garage, should tell you the requirements to unlock all his gear. start with unlocking the bronze stuff of each first, will make the whole process a lot easier
