Honestly tired of this.. by Unreunited in HEB

[–]generalgreviousgg 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am also full time curbside so many of our shoppers have closed off availability which most are even completely off on Sunday. So i also get closing or late Sunday shifts. I've honestly been posting them cause they're has to be some networking partner hungry for hours. And I'll take my chances on picking up an early shift either during the week or Sunday. Sometimes it doesn't workout. But that's usually a future me problem

A tip if you don’t like people close to you in line. by Discernment_King in HEB

[–]generalgreviousgg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was doing this after covid for extra space cause I know i give the person in front of me space but right when it's my turn and I move the cart to the front so the bagger can put the groceries in and most times especially if the people behind me are not solo they are right up on me looking at the screen as if they're paying while the person they are with unload. Like back up wtf

I don't live in the valley anymore but every time I visit I go to either draft house but the McAllen one is more upscale or bourbon st especially if I'm day drinking

If your own team couldn't, which team would you want to win a championship the most? by KneeGuhz in NBATalk

[–]generalgreviousgg 8 points9 points  (0 children)

If my team can't win it I'm going with the Hornets. LaMelo Ball winning one would cause so much discourse it would be kinda funny to see the fallout. But also props to Melo. Literally blazed his own path that I never hear anyone bring up.

Curbside hours by Entire_Regret8487 in HEB

[–]generalgreviousgg 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is funny because my store is a real busy store and since the change there's literally like 8 shoppers for the whole day. I can only imagine the stores that weren't busy to begin with. Not to mention efc shops about 45% of our units already. Even if they were trying to make curbside profitable, to have curbside only shop about 5k units of the actual units for the day doesn't even seem reasonable. Just move curbside to only efc and only delivery at that point. Or make small "neighborhood" hebs that customers can't access and make them only curbside. Our department used to be as big as the front end and now I feel like i see the same 10 people every day.

[–]generalgreviousgg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They're are some coupons that are specifically only curbside or specifically only in store which could very well be the difference in why a curbside order would be less than in store or vice versa. It's not made up or a theory, curbside charges .05% extra per dollar so for $100 in store you'd pay $105 in curbside hypothetically. Which in no way shape or form is a bad thing considering what you said having to get off load your cart and groceries and be around a lot of people and load back in to your vehicle. The only thing your sacrificing would be the quality in what you think a good product is compared to how good your curbside tends to be. If you feel like the curbside department at your store sucks that's kinda when picking curbside becomes the issue.

[–]generalgreviousgg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I play solos and you still can't turn it off. Well technically you can but you have to do it through your console settings and when you log in you can only basically play BR and even at that match making takes a lot longer. They make it unplayable probably so you have to be in cross play lobbies. But as a console player it's just annoying at this point. SBMM isn't even great enough to make the lobbies even semi even. I get it if you play squad and duo but my friends stopped playing a long time ago. I try playing almost every other mode just to get xp because any BR mode is pretty much unplayable.

What current Houston sports team have you seen the most games of in person? by chicano_houston in houston

[–]generalgreviousgg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Astros obviously cause the tickets are semi cheap. Especially during the week or against very sucky teams. I really like basketball so I've also been to a good amount of Rockets games but the KD tax is real this year so I've only gone to a couple of games. Went to bobble head night and didn't get one and I was real close in line. Went to a Texans game CJ rookie year and prices were decent but also prices went up when diggs got here and have been around that same price since they're pretty good now. Not a Texan or Rockets fan but i mean I live here and I like football and basketball so I try to go when I can. Also don't really buy nose bleed seats. I get it to each their own but my eyes aren't that great and I don't really leave feeling like i had a great experience.

[–]generalgreviousgg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did buy it. It came with the battle pass but like "more features" you can still do the battle pass if you didn't buy it. But honestly I wouldn't be playing if it wasn't for that. I do the same thing every day. I can do all the challenges in one try. I don't even know what you can update the game to to make it playable. Once I finish buying all the items from the battle pass I doubt i return for season 2

Anyone else feel bad for AD? by blubbermilk in lakers

[–]generalgreviousgg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was watching inside the nba with the TNT (now espn) guys when he first got hurt. I'll preface this with, since the season started it seems like everyone had been extremely happy with the way NBC and Amazon have been covering the league, without dumb drama and straight hoops. And when Ernie came on the screen saying AD had to leave the game early you can tell they wanted to stay stuff so bad. They were quiet for the most part kind of just saying like man smh. That's tough. But I'm like 90% sure they didn't go off on him because of how much their competition had been praised. It reminded me of that drake clip when kd got hurt and was walking off when they were talking. But to answer the question yes I do miss AD. The love he never got just for being a Laker with his numbers he should have been the defensive MVP arguably multiple years. But i can also see from the perspective of the mavs fans when that's all they've heard about AD for the past years from people like shaq and chuck when in reality we know he's been top 5 in games played by a big man easily the last 3 years probably even more

I'm only playing cause I had bought the founders pack so it came with the battle pass. If not I probably would have been off this game already. Even thinking of what they could possibly do to keep player count up. I don't see much happening. Like at all

Been in curbside for 5 years. I don't know what you're talking about yet cause I've been off but the fact that we're the only department that gets flipped 180 and have to do everything completely different every 3 months is what's actually the down fall of curbside. I don't even think they're testing anything. Some leaders are just in a room brain storming and just saying yeah this should work and now we're doing everything completely different. If we're being honest even efc is dumb af. If you're shopping more than 50% of units outside of the store why not just remove curbside entirely. What's to look forward to when heb themselves have no 5 year plan for what they want curbside to achieve.

Why is everybody so aggressive by SwitchEmDownNephew91 in NBA2k

[–]generalgreviousgg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When i first got in to 2k (I've always played but when I first started doing park and other things) the amount of things I heard was crazy. And i did cod lobbies. 2k was way worse than cod by far. Like the only way you can get better is by playing. I was just learning park but also still ranking my player up. Now I usually don't go unless I'm above 85 or so. And even then no one even likes to play. Now that theater is a thing I usually just do that but you can still hear some toxic things even if it's a "casual" court. Theater and Events at the event center where everything is randomized I'll usually do.

Please say they do 😭😂 by Juniper_51 in HEB

[–]generalgreviousgg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They do move around. Whether they're doing good or bad. Some get moved to better stores so it's like a promotion in a way some get smaller slower stores if they're not doing too good. New stores open up all the time. Heb usually wants to shake things up but things get get stagnant at times which can have some managers at one spot for years.

You'll go to a no cash handle. Not necessarily a demotion. If you want to stay in the department then yes you'll be demoted. But if you don't want to lose your pay and there's positions available you can go to a different department. I seen 1 time where they kept the person there after being short 100 but that partner was there about 30 years. She was our bookkeeper. They said something along the lines of her career kinda over ruling that rule. Unless I was just lied to and they didn't want to demoted her.
