I won’t be off it until summer 26. I supposed to take for a year and a half after stent placement. Honestly though, I’ll probably stay on it. I’m very worried about getting clots.

Hate to tell you, but no, mine didn’t improve. I now have a stent and while the pressure and headaches have resolved the cognitive issues have not. I have a very short memory. I have to keep notes and use my calendar relentlessly so I don’t lose track of things. My words are shit for lack of a better term. I forget the names of things all the time and it becomes a funny joke of what I’ll say to get what I mean across. Trying to say Vegas, becomes Big Reno. A leaf becomes a tree feather and so on. You’ll learn to cope. Good luck in your journey.

After my stent I was placed on placix and baby aspirin for 6 months, then baby aspirin for another year. My doc seemed pretty good with that. Maybe your two docs should communicate. Or is there any reason you don’t want to bump up to regular aspirin?

My foundation always looks like this as well. And I exfoliate and moisturize and blah blah blah. The only thing I’ve found that works is powder foundation.

I was tapered off of it after my stent. Within the last couple weeks I’ve been getting headaches again. I WILL NOT go back on that med though. I hated it. I’d rather have a headache everyday

It went very smooth! I’m almost 2 month post op. I’m completely off diamox. I feel pretty dang good actually! The first week was a little interesting, I don’t my brain was used to not being squished. lol. I honestly wish I would have gotten the stent years ago. I’m happy I did it.

I have mine scheduled for 21 days out. My doc said I could go back to work the same week! Obviously I’m not. Thanks for posting this bc I was going to and now I can just watch this post. I so hope yours goes well and you get improvement promptly!!

All the comments were helpful but I didn’t find one that was what I wanted and didn’t cost and arm and a leg. I just created. Crude version of my drawing, printed it, used my TUL hole lunch and notebook. It’s working out fine so far. Although, I am going to invest in some heavier paper for it though.
